My Nice experience

It's one nice experinces, my real experince was gotten at central java (Jogja ), When I got travelling to study tour with my friends from from boarding scholl, my friend are boy's so, we could talk each other freely.

There is on my friends met me when ai arrangged my friend the participants of tour and he said " what is your purpose to go to the borubudur and prambanan temples;re the place of worship of budish, arn't they? he said politely.

yeach ....... you're right my dear.! but we've known too, we will go to there not to devour but wee want to know the real of indonesian histories and our purpouse not only to see borobudur ands prambanan template but also to see the our good's (allah) creative which no written wich no written in al-qur'an, you know ! I said fairly.

"okay sir, I believe with your good purpose, but would you like to give information and suggestion to all remember of study tour, before we leave banyuanyar, in order to know the purpose of our study tour.! he said politely..!
" Of course, you right becaused of our friend's are the firts time from them get entertaiment like this I must give sugestion for them to know the purpose of study tour exactly " I said seriosly.

When the members of study tour have prepared to got on the bus. I led the members to prays together an then on . 08:00 AM our members let banyuanyar and we reached in Dogja on 04:00 PM, I locked all my friends were very tired so we incluided to tooking a rest for a moment in villa.

I locked all my friends are very happy when I gave information that the places which we would visit them not far from our villa.

On the 08:00 AM we left banyuanyar, and on 04:00 PM I reached to Djogja the first place That I visited was The Borubudur Template it's the first Time For me, The weather in That day was very could so, we must got jacket to against the coldnes.

Reading comprehension is defined as the level of understanding of writing. Proficient reading depends on the ability to recognize words quickly and effortlessly.        Skimming is used to quickly gather the most important information, or“gist”. Run your eyes over the text, noting important information. It is not essential to understand each word when skimming.

  • Business and travel brochures (quickly to get informed)

2. Scanning
     Scanning is used to find a particular piece of information. Run your eyes over the text looking for the specific piece of information you need. Use scanning on schedules, meeting plans etc. in order to find the specific details you require. If you see word or phrases that you do not understand, do not worry when scanning.

  • The “what’s on TV” section of newspaper
  • A train / air plane schedule
  • A conference guide

3. Extensive Reading
        Extensive reading is used to obtain a general understanding of a subject and includes reading longer texts for pleasure, as well as business books use extensive reading skills to improve your general knowledge of business procedures. Do not worry if you do not understand each word.

  • The latest marketing strategy book
  • A novel you read before going to bed
  • Magazine articles that interest you

4. Intensive Reading
Intensive reading is used on shorter texts in order to extract specific information. It includes very close accurate reading for detail. Use intensive reading skills to grasp the details of a specific situation. In this case, it is important that you understand each word, number of fact.

  • A book keeping report 
  • An insurance claim
  • A contract

Background of the study

Language is a system of communication by sound, that is the organs of speech and hearing. Among human beings of certain group of community using vocal symbols possessing arbitrary conventional meaning. It is the basis of human’s uniqueness and the essence of his culture. Language is the most important things in communication that function is to deliver information and to interact among human being.
Language is a part of society and culture, also a part of a social system and communication. As a mean of communication, language has a close relationship with social aspect. Since language and society are a compatible unity, they can not be separated. The study of language in relation with society is called “sociolinguistics” ( Ronald Wardraugh. 1986: 103). Sociolinguistic includes language aspect and social factors, the first factor involved vocabularies, sound, grammatical construction etc. the second one cover age, sex, religion, etc.

this globalization era, peoples are demanded to master more than one language to support their works. More language they master the more flexible they can interact with others. People who have capability on two or more languages they will proud to their self, because they feel that they have a special capability that is different from others. Based on that reason it is not surprising if nowadays someone masters not only the mother tongue and second language, but also foreign language as well. The language mastery is needed since it is really significant to make communication between one persons with others run well.

In the course of time language experience changes and grow up, as the use of language mixing the level of growth in the form of language use mixing is really interesting to be investigated. Indonesia has several languages, such as Indonesian, Javanese, sundanese, etc. even Indonesian language contact with another language, called foreign language likely English, Arabic, Chinese and others. Indonesian people speak in Indonesian language mostly at formal situation, moreover, they speak in mother tongue at their daily life. Nevertheless, it is usual that people speak more than one language especially at informal situation or in daily conversation. Even, they usually hear, for example” up to me dong” it indicated that Indonesian people can speak English although not master it. They want to show their ability to speak in foreign language look so cool. This phenomenon in sociolinguistic is named code mixing.

Code mixing is a speech act that speaker or writers mix two codes or more languages in a discourse. The main characteristics in code mixing are relax situation and informal situation (P.W.J Nababan. 1986:32). Indonesian people, who speak Indonesian language, sometimes use foreign language such as English in their conversation..

However, code mixing can not seen from spoken language, but also in written language such as newspaper, magazine, tabloid, etc. both in spoken and written language, code mixing partly come since the speakers or writers or not able to find the suitable vocabularies of certain language in order more interesting. In written language, code mixing is presented in italic style or underline at words or phrases the other languages.
